How important it is to find time to get alone with God. Psalm 23 profiles the many benefits of staying close to Our Shepherd. It's essential to make space in our lives [and it will require that we are intentional and persistent in it] to reflect and ponder. We need those places beside still waters where our souls can be fed and restored...to seek the invisible, know the unknowable, comprehend the incomprehensible and experience the eternal...nothing else in this life could possibly be more satisfying and replenishing than seeing God in all of His glory and responding to Him in worship as is appropriate. I makes sense that this would be the ultimate satisfaction for any man or woman since the "chief end and duty of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever." We sing it often here: "Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that you're my God...." Don't fail to take Him up on His glorious invitation. Let Him come in so that you both can dine together (Rev.3:20)..."comfort food" for the soul.
Be Blessed!
