First Impressions...

First Impressions

I’m convinced that Fellowship Church has some of the best teachers, leaders and people of any church around! I believe if people get to know us, they will come to the same conclusion. However, a bad first impression could cause a guest to miss the real Fellowship.

We all know how awkward it is to go into a place where everyone knows each other and is friendly toward each other, but we do not know anyone; and no one seems to want to get to know us. That kind of first impression is also a certain last impression.

The first impression that people get when they visit Fellowship will often determine if they will come again. If they feel that we really care for them, if they feel loved and accepted into our church, they will probably come again and become a part of Fellowship. Conversely, if they do not, we will probably never see them again.

First impressions are eternally important, for if there is not a good first impression, there may not be opportunity for a second.

Many of you, along with our greeters, welcome center and ushers, work hard in order to make people feel welcome; and by doing so, you play a vital role in the kingdom’s work! For if we neglect to reach out to those that God sends to our doorstep, we shall surely fail to reach out to those who do not visit our church, and God may tire of sending us people that He loves and we take for granted.

Everyone who comes to our church is looking for spiritual help, fellowship, friendship, acceptance and love. Let’s make sure that their first impression of Fellowship is lasting and results in an opportunity for them to become a part of our church.

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.” (Hebrews 13:2)

...Just thought this would encourage us all....

Blessings,
