Living In The Light Of Eternity, Part One

Do you live each day with the thought of making it count for eternity? Is each action performed for the glory of God?

Our life on earth will soon be over. We have many warnings in Scripture about the brevity of life on earth and how we need to live wisely.
"Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow.
You are just a vapor that appears for a little while
And then vanishes away." James 4:14
"LORD, make me to know my end,
And what is the extent of my days,
Let me know how transient I am." Psalm 39:4
"So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to Thee a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90:12
Certainly, life is full of little daily tasks that seem so unimportant when viewed in the light of eternity. But, we are human. We have to work, eat, sleep, relate to people, pay our taxes, raise children, be a responsible citizen, etc.,. Life is full of the mundane. But, we can live our lives so that everything we do can be done for His glory.
"Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do,
do all to the glory of God." I Corinthians 10:31
To be continued!
Love you all,
